Custom software goes wrong when nobody agrees what was being built. So we write it down before we start, and show you working software early enough for you to change your mind cheaply.
Scoping
We sit with the people who do the work, not only the people who sign for it. You get a written scope: what is in, what is out, and what it costs.
Build in short cycles
Something you can open and use at the end of each cycle. Changing your mind in week three is cheap. In month six it is not.
Migrate and train
Your existing data comes across, your staff are trained on it, and the documentation is written so somebody other than us can read it.

How much does custom software development cost in South Africa?
It depends on what is being built, which is why every project starts with a written scope that says what is in, what is out and what it costs. As a guide, the budget ranges on our contact form run from R45,000 to R85,000 for a custom web app or client portal, and from R85,000 up for a mobile app or a larger system.
How long does a custom software project take?
We build in short cycles, with something you can open and use at the end of each one, so you see working software early rather than at the end. The timeline for your project is set out in the written scope.
Who owns the software once it is built?
You do. On final payment, all rights in the deliverables built specifically for you, including the source code, transfer to you. We keep the toolkit we reuse across clients and license it to you for use in your system. Our own platforms, HRify and OPSEN, stay ours.
Do you build mobile apps?
Yes. iOS and Android apps for the people who do the work away from a desk, usually alongside a web app for the office that reads and writes the same data at the same time.
Can you integrate with the systems we already use?
Yes. Integrations are one of the four kinds of project we build, so nobody is re-typing the same order, invoice or job into a second system.
What happens after launch?
We stay on. Your existing data comes across, your staff are trained, the documentation is written so somebody other than us can read it, and we make the changes as the business changes.
